Stuck, confused, or something broke? Email us with your Kerf version and a quick repro. Small team, usually a few business days — sometimes faster if the fix is obvious.

Suggest a feature

All feature work is prioritised from the public backlog. Upvote what matters to you, or open a new discussion. We read everything; we can't build everything.

Privately, please — don't file a public issue. We acknowledge within 72 hours and work to a 90-day coordinated disclosure by default. Full policy in SECURITY.md.

How do I get my Pro license on a new machine?

Sign in with the same Smoothgrain account you used to buy Kerf (avatar menu → Sign in). The license travels with your account, not the device. If you're stuck, email support@smoothgrain.app.

How do I get a refund?

LemonSqueezy handles billing. Email us at support@smoothgrain.app within 14 days of purchase and we'll sort it — no forms, no friction.

Does Kerf collect data?

No analytics or telemetry inside the app itself. The auth flow and license check call our server (smoothgrain.app); that's it. The files you edit never leave your machine.

Is the source code public?

The Kerf app source is private, but all bug reports and feature requests live on the public kerf-issues repo so you can see what's being worked on.

I'm not sure which channel to use.
